Skills audits are the base way to measure the collective skill and knowledge held by the organisation. An audit defines the start of a journey. Without completing an audit any journey towards the companies goals will be unmeasurable. the process

We start by establishing the key stakeholders, and the aims & objectives of your audit. We then collate and prioritise these to produce a document detailing what the audit needs to do for each key stakeholder. We call this the Root Definition. The root definition enables the project to have a consistent objective throughout, which can be drawn from and checked against at all times.

Next we consider the detail needed to implement the audit. This will include:

Once the skills have been defined and logged into the templates, employees can complete their own self assessment online and in their own time. At any stage, as they learn new skills or complete training they can upgrade their skills. This means that at any stage the business has a live and accurate picture and can instantly track progress.

the outcome

Once the employees have completed their profiles, the system is able to generate any number of reports. It can, at this stage, be used for pre-selection or selection for projects,matches against new projects, for training requirements and so on. SkillSniffer tarcks all data and can quickly locate any skill set within the company or show 'best possible' employees to match specific criteria.

Any number of reports can be generated to give an overview of skills, skills deficiences, gap analysis, career development plans and so on.
